“Cabinet-desk” is a compact, functional and minimalistic piece of furniture that can be easily transformed into a workplace. An assemblable “Cabinet-desk” is designed for convenient storage and accessibility. A rigid humidity proof HPL sheet structure attributes to reliable storage capabilities whereas straightforward hinged joints will save time while putting the product together. „Cabinet-desk” comes with a built-in LED profile that receives power from the integrated AC sockets. All the elements comprise a compact home workplace that can be easily turned into an enclosed volume for storage in that way defining the on-off work boundaries. The project has been carried out in collaboration with "Ergolain projektai". The final mock-up has been exhibited at Vilnius the Exhibition of laureates of the annual contest "Young Designer Prize 2013". Festival of culture and art Culture Night “Tebunie naktis”. This project got audience prize winner of the Product and the Industrial Design category in manonamai.lt portal.
