My name is Laura Petraitytė and I'm a designer based in United Kingdom. I received my bachelor in product design program in Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania. I also spent half  year in Sweden studying Design at Lund University according to the exchange programme. There I was able to improve my team working skills, to improve how to develop sequential ideas of design and learn more from international students. With excitement all my knowledge baggage I have brought to my first workplace in Lithuanian-based international company ‘’ Narbutas Furniture Company’’. There I was responsible for 3D visualisator for standard and bespoke production. Occasionally I was working on soft and solid office furniture concept development projects. One of the company’s services to provide help for sales department to demonstrate potential clients how sales production would look in client s’ existing office layout. Slowly I was getting more enthusiastic so it was not surprising that my next step to get into interiors sector.

 

Now I have a new adventure and I am exploring the United Kingdom by working in the local company of commercial interior services. That is how I am finding and learning more about interior subtle of the foreign culture.
